IRISH TEA COOKIES

Today we went to the school and we had  cooking class, in that class we made irish tea cookies, and they were delicious, after that we went padel surfing and we had to try to get to one little island that was like 400meters away.
We could do two things and one of them was "Kayac"that was in pairs and  you were seated in a kayac with a oar and like in padel surf you had to row. The other one that you could do was Padel surfing, in this one you had to stand up in a surfing table and with an oar you had to row.
After as almost all of the days we went to the park, and we had an amazing time. La
It was an amazing day, we did lots of things, and tomorrow we are going to go to Dublin.

OUR LAST DAY IN IRELAND. BY MARÍA SAMPER

29th of september, the last day staying in Ireland, the last day of this amazing experience. After the farewell party, yesterday, everybody went home and Paula and I were spending our last moments with our wonderful family. Today, we got up very early and we stay all morning with our two "sisters", we had breakfast all together and then we played cards because that was the thing that we always did together. All of us were very sad. The first person that we had to say goodbye was Mark, our "daddy" and in that moment I start crying for the first time. After that, mum, our sisters, our brother ,Paula and I were very sad because we wont see us again until years or a lot of months if we come again, and i will, i swear that. We were crying for a very long time, they have been taking care of us like we were their daughters and making us feel at home. I had a great time here and my english has improve, so as the spanish of our family. They are like our second family and we are going to miss them so much

A great opportunity for us! By Ramón Santana Tristancho

Saturday, 26th September

Today is 26th September and, in 3 days, we return to Las Palmas, so we have to enjoy the few days we have left with our Irish families and Irish friends. It’s weekend and we don’t have to wake up early and be all the day at school, so we have a lot of time to do many things together like going to the park or going for a walk in the town.  Although we are staying in Ireland 3 days more, I think this is a good moment to say that this has been a great  opportunity in our lifes to learn an important language, as english is, and to discover a country like Ireland and know more about its culture.

I don’t know what me friends did today, but my day has been great. I woke up at 9.30 and all the family was sleeping yet, so I had breakfast by myself. At 12.00, we were all awake and, at 14.00, I had lunch. At 16.00, Diane, my “Irish mother”, told us to go shopping to Enniskillen, a town in Northern Ireland. When we arrived to our destination, Pat, Darren and I went to the shopping centre and we were walking and watching shops. Later, we went to eat an ice-cream. I arrived at 19.00 and I just had dinner. Now, I’m tired and I will stay at home.

LIVING IT TO THE FULLEST!

VISITING DUBLIN! VÍCTOR PÉREZ

Yesterday 20th of September, Ann, Ciaran, Art and me went to Dublin. I had never been to Dublin. So we made our minds in the morning and finally decided to spend the day out of home. After 2 hours of roadtrip we finally arrived to the city. We visited the Phoenix Park, which is the biggest walled park in Europe. Then we got to the city centre. I checked out some of the shops, and I bought an Ireland jumper. That day, the counties of Kerry and Dublin were playing the final match of Gaelic Football, so we went to a bar where we watched the match (Dublin won). I believe Dublin is my favourite city now. Finally after two hours of car in which I fell asleep, we arrived home.
I really love Ireland and I want to stay here for longer so bad! I am having so much fun, irish people are nice, the weather (I like cold and rainy weather), the landscape... Everything is perfect :D. Also the McGoldrick's are lovely and I think I am really lucky for having them as my host family! The last week is ahead and we have to live it to the fullest!

Hello this is my blog. In this blog I explain my Sunday and a little about Ireland.
I woke up at 10 o'clock I'm very tired because the last night I went to sleep at 1 o'clock because I was playing playstation with James. Then I had breakfast I ate eggs, muffins, cereal with milk and orange juice, it was delicious. At eleven we went to Ruairi house to play playstation because in Ruairi house my friend Alejandro Molina is staying. Then we ate peperoni pizza for lunch. At 3 o'clock Padraig's mother took us to Bawnboy to do some activities . The first activity was like paintball but using laser guns that did not shoot bullets. Alejandro,Marcos and me against James Padraig, Ruairi and Padraig's brother. They won. Then we played clay pigeon laser shooting , Marcos and James won . At  4 o'clock we drove buggies and James won again and they gave him a medal. Then we went to Padraig's house . The Padraig's house is a mansion. When we arrived we played football , at 7  we ate pizza again . Then we played Fifa 16 with Alejandro and Marcos I won all the matches. At 7:45 I went to James's house because we had to put sportswear on to play a football match on the court in the town. My team won. At ten o'clock we arrived at home, I had a shower and watched a comedy film with James. At 12 o'clock I went to bed because I was very tired that night.
Here in Ireland I live in Swanlinbar . It is a small village situated near the border to the north of ireland. I live with James. He go to Sant Mogues College , he is 15 years. James has two brothers called John and Ciaran and two sisters called Shona and Deirdre. His mother's name is Collete and his father's Tony. James has a dog called Cara and a cat called Tyson. His house has 9 bedrooms and four bathrooms . It is a very big house. His family have a farm. James can drive a tractor and a car. I like all of ireland but I don't like one thing the weather. Bye

AMAZING EXPERIENCE, BY CRISTINA O'SHANAHAN.

SPORT DAY EXPERIENCE by Cristina O'Shanahan.
Today it was an amazing day. First of all, we went to the pitch that is near St Mogue's college instead of going to the school. As always, the bus took us. Then we arrived and the game started. The students of 1st year were the first ones to play. Then all got more interesting because it was Claret against St Mogues. The students run 100, 200 and 400 metres. They also did relay races and shot put . We finished this experience doing games like throwing oranges and doing circuits. After that, we bought crisps, sweets and hotdogs. We waited for the bus and we went home. At seven we will have chinese food for dinner and later we will get into town. I'm having a great time here and this last week had gone very quickly, I wish we would have more time to stay here because this is amazing. I hope I will come here again, it's a very cool experience.

"SPORTS DAY AT SAINT MOGUE'S". BY DANIEL ROGER

Hi everyone!

Today it has been a great day here in Ireland. Students and teachers from St Mogue’s School prepared a sports day for all school members. It was really fun!

People were divided into groups, each one for a different type of sport. There were different categories, for example: 100m, 200m and 400m. Then we also had relay races and shot put competitions. All of them were fun and enjoyable. I’m sure we all had a good time there in the football field, were all the activities were done.

Once we were finished, we could play some games like football and  boules or just chat with friends. The school also prepared some hot dogs and snacks for us to eat. It was delicious!

This has been today’s day. All of us enjoyed it! Of that I’m sure.

This exchange is a pretty good experience for everyone. It really is.

I WOULD REPEAT IT FOR SURE! BY ALEXIA DE RAMÓN

We have been in Ireland for a week and a few days but it seems that was yesterday when we arrived here. Time is going very fast.

Today I woke up at eight like every morning however I was more tired than usual becouse yesterday I went  to sleep at 12:30 doing my homework. I dressed up, i made my bed, I had breakfast then I prepared my bag because we were goning surfing to Donegal in the east Coast of Ireland, after that berni drove me to the school as every day, there I met with all the spanish and irish people to take the bus. At 10:30 we took the bus toward the beach, the ride laste dan hour and a half.

When we arrived we putt he wetsuit on, the instructors divided us in groups of 8 people and we got into a car that took us to the beach.  There we train about 15 minutes before getting into the wáter.  We started surfing and I didn´t feel my hands and feet becouse the  water was freeze. It was a spectacular beach with White sand and surrounded by mountains.  We had a little break but most of the people didn´t entered again into the wáter so time after we returned back to the surf club. Our bodies were frozen I couldn´t even move my hands so we had a hot shower and we drank tee and chocolate. At 4 we went back to Bomboy.  I  Arrived in my  house at 5:30 then I had a shower and I started doing my homework , I ate pizza too and now I´m going to watch a DVD.
I´m having a very good time here, it´s being a nice experience I´m learning about other culture and improving my english too, I would repeat it for sure and a will try to enjoy it as much as posible.

Time is going so fast, we've been here for a week and it looks like we arrived yesterday.
Today, 15th of september my alarm clock sound at 7:30 so I woke up, got dressed and went downstairs to have breakfast. It was like a normal day but this time instead of going by bus kelly's mum took us by car to school. We arrived quite early so we had to wait a bit until classes began. We had four classes and then we had a break of 15 minutes where we ate our snack. We went back to class but this time we had three hours of english before the lunch. We corrected homework and then our teacher gave us some sheets with exercises. In the lunchtime I ate a chicken wrap and that was my day at school. In the afternoon I took the bus with Kelly to go home and we have just already arrived. We had dinner and now we are in the living room watching a film. In the evening we are going to a football match and then we will come soon because tomorrow we have classes again!!
I'm having a really good time here in Ireland and Im sure I will repeat again💗💗

Great time in spite of the rain. By Javier Grao.

Today we have had a great day. At school it was a little boring having 4 english classes in one day but we did have fun when we got home.

This time we didn't go to the park because of the rain but we had a great time either.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE by Lía del Toro

Hello!! It's Lía.
Right now I'm in Ireland laying down with my partner Leah. She's from here, and I'm staying at her house. At the begging of this trip I was just a little bit nervous about who I was staying with, but I met my "Irish family" and automatically I fell in love with them. They are really nice with me and the little sister Cailin loves me too. When I arrived she was very shy, but we started talking about Frozen and now she always want to talk with me. We're living in Belturbet. It's a little but far from the school and from the others spanish students but we always meet in a park that's in Ballyconnell.
In the school most of us are in TY ( Transition Year) and the rest are in 3rd year. I really like this school. We untherstand most of the things that the teachers said. And my favorite thing is that the classes don't last more than 35 min.
This is an amazing experience and I'm really enjoying it. It is amazing to have this chance to know a lot of new people.
Well I think that's it. So see yaa. 😘😘
Lía.

OUR FIRST WEEKEND IN IRELAND! BY PAULA RODRÍGUEZ

Our first weekend in Ireland!!! My partner and I woke up at 11:00 and we didn't  know if our Irish family were wake up so we stayed  in bet until we hear noise at the kitchen. Later we had breakfast with our mum and when we finished we played cards and teach them how to play some Spanish games with the cards that I brought. After that our Irish sister , Niamh, introduced us her little cousin , that have only 1 year old and then we had dinner , at 1 o'clock. So we remained so impressed because in Spain we always dinner at 9 or 10 at night. After that Daniela and I went to the room where we were talking with our parents by Skype and suddenly Niamh nock the door and invited us to saw a comedy film , so we finished the Skype calling and went to the living room to saw the film with all family .

When the film finished we remembered the party so we done all things we had to do before going and we get into the car with our Irish father to ballyconnell. There we saw that nobody was at park so one Irish boy guided us to Chloe's houses because there were more Spanish people that were prepared for the party. At 19:20 our Irish mum brought us to the party that was in the football pitch. That 3 hours were the best part of the day, we were listening to music, eating pizza, talking with the other Irish guys..... Every day that passed we are more confident with each other and I like it.

so that was my day And I hope tomorrow will be better❤❤❤

FOURTH DAY BY DANIELA HAWACH

4TH day
All days here in Ireland are  really exciting, on each day happened something new. Today was better than the others because we get used to live here. First of all my partner and I woke up alone at home because our Irish friend went before us to school and her parents work really early in the morning. So we prepared our breakfast and while we were eating the bus driver rang at the door to call us. We finished really quickly all things we had to do before going. And we take the bus. The hole day pass like the days before. We get in different classes during the day and we were always trying to understand what teachers mean sometimes it is really difficult but little by little we follow better the classes.  Today we finished at 1 o'clock!! Was Friday!!

At evening was the best part of the day, all Irish and Spanish friends meet together at ones of the Irish students house until seven when our Irish families drove us to a Gaelic football match. Was a great experience learning about a new sport from here and get more confidence with them.

Today is Tuesday 8th of September, day one of the exchange, after close our bags and say goodbye to all our families, we start talking and thinking things like: Will I understand the Irish language? Or will be a good experience? And many other things we were nervous about.
Antonio and Francisco told us about meet at 7:30 pm, so we had one free hour at the Airport that we spent in front of the big window so we could see how many plains were landing

After 4 hours flying we arrived at Dublin Airport and I couldn't be more nervous, it was a new city for me, but I couldn't see so much cause we had to go on the bus, 2 hours more until arrive.
We arrive at 4am and our families took us home, Maria and me were so excited, we watched the house for the first time, it was so big, and we went to sleep, we were going to sleep.
It was a complete day, hope we will enjoy this opportunity and learn much english
